Lotus Cortina is the commonly used term for the Ford Cortina Lotus, a high-performance sports saloon which was produced in the UK from 1963 to 1970 by Ford in collaboration with Lotus Cars.
The original version, which was based on the Ford Cortina Mark 1 was promoted by Ford as the Consul Cortina and developed by Lotus, with Consul later being dropped from the name.
This illustration is of the car driven by Jim Clark to victory in the 1964 British Saloon Car Championships at Snetterton in England.
It’s available as a high quality digital or giclée print in either A3 or A4. (The Lettering can be removed or customised if you wish.)
I also have a MK 1 Ford Escort Mexico available to buy or if you are interested in commissioning your own classic illustration, I would love to work with you, so please don't hesitate to get in touch.
